Constance, formerly Brasserie Constance, was born out of a desire to create a restaurant our neighbours would be proud of. Embracing the Thames’ beauty, we also take inspiration from our namesake, Constance Spry, a floristry, pottery and cookery innovator. Her ability to brilliantly pair the traditional with the uncelebrated is in every aspect of the dishes and drinks we serve.

Curated by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, our menus let local, seasonal ingredients shine with dishes of understated elegance. Our food is complemented by expertly crafted cocktails, and a considered wine list full of Old World stalwarts and New World gems.
Meet Charlie, our Head Chef
Working side-by-side with Adam, is Charlie, our head chef. Growing up in Gloucestershire in and around the farming community, Charlie moved to London to begin his culinary career, under the tutelage of John Williams at The Ritz. A chance meeting led him to work with Patrick Powell to firstly open Allegra in Stratford, and latterly their sister restaurant, The Midland Grand Dining Room, back in the capital.
